It has quirky old world charm, but the rooms and bathrooms have modern comfort. I like that they have space in the bathroom to spread out toiletries and the hangers in the closet are the sturdy regular ones, not the silly kind that one has to hook together. They have good variety at their breakfast buffet. Since I was traveling by train, this was a perfect location for me for a couple of days and there is a huge mall attached to the train station, just across from the Station Hotel.

Breakfast is excellent, if I was being pcky you should maybe be asked if you want porridge when you're seated as you're tempted to go to the buffet whilst you wait. Staff are very pleasant We upgraded our room and it was well worth the £20 we paid we had room 503. The location is excellent and plenty of places to eat nearby, we went to Suma, just a few yards away and it was very good.

The room was lovely very spacious and had very comfortable beds also the pillows were nice and firm which suited myself and my husband, the lady came in every day to make up the room and empty the bin etc, she did a great job. Located was fantastic especially if using public transport and there were lots of bars and cafes all around. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and plentiful.

Elaine

Room was beautiful and so clean. Lobby lovely. Didn’t realise it was only afternoon teas but meal was meal with it was lovely. Really good location and would say the value for money was great breakfast included but we didn’t make it as the noise of traffic and other guests kept us awake. Then did manage to sleep and got woke up with fire alarm. Can’t fault our room tho was lovely

Catherine

We came to stay for Elton John. The hotel is gorgeous. So central to everything right across from the shopping centre. The room was lovely and spacious and the the en suite came with a bath which was lovely. The bed was amazingly comfortable. In fact best night sleep I had for a long time - and i'm pregnant so that's saying a lot! Thanks for a fab stay at a really low cost
